POST DOC POSITION - CSIC (MADRID, SPAIN)

The research group 'Lingüística y Ciencia Cognitiva' / 'Linguistics and
Cognitive Science' of the Centro de Ciencias Humanas y Sociales [CCHS]
(Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, Madrid - Spain) is
looking for a postdoctoral fellow in the area of the lexicon-syntax
interface / semantics for a period of two years and five months (29
months), beginning no later than October 1st, 2010. This group is
interested in candidates with a strong commitment to world-class research
and willing to interact with the other members of the group on joint
research. The candidate will participate fully in and contribute to the
intellectual life of the group. The CCHS is exclusively a research center.  

Applicants must hold a doctoral degree completed by the start of the
appointment. The appointed candidate will work on the Ministry of Science
and Innovation-funded research project 'Estructura eventiva y construcción
léxico-sintáctica de las oraciones. Teoría y experimentación. / Event
structure and the lexical-syntactic construction of sentences: Theory and
experimentation [EventSynt]' (PI: Dr. Violeta Demonte). Expertise in this
research topic is a plus.
