Meeting Description: 

JALT will hold its 36th Annual International Conference on Language Teaching and Learning and Educational Materials Exposition from November 19-22 at the Aichi Industry and Labor Center www.winc-aichi.jp in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. The theme of this year's conference is Creativity: Think Outside the Box. The conference will feature innovative plenary speakers, hundreds of engaging presentations and workshops, and cutting-edge teaching materials. With presentations describing both linguistic research and ways in which such research informs second language pedagogy, participants will have plenty to choose from. Possible topics include applied linguistics, corpus linguistics, discourse analysis, semantics, pragmatics, and language acquisition.
