Meeting Description:

This conference aims to disseminate research, current developments and practices
in the region focusing on a number of topics listed below. In recent years, more
attention has been given to research in speech, language and hearing sciences,
which are key areas in health and education. Since 2008, the British Council's
Prime Minister Initiative II has supported a research project on 'Researching
Syntactic Development for Malay and Chinese Children in Malaysia & Constructing
Syntactic Assessment Tools for Speech & Language Therapy'. The project is a
collaboration between the Speech Language Therapy Division, Faculty of Health
and Life Sciences, De Montfort University, UK and the Department of Audiology &
Speech Sciences, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Universiti Kebangsaan
Malaysia (UKM). Findings of this research will be presented alongside with other
research findings in the fields of Speech Sciences, Clinical Linguistics and
Audiology in the Asia Pacific region.

Format:
Abstracts should not be more than 200 words. Please use font Times New Roman
size 12. List of references must follow the APA style.

Submission Deadline: 1st March 2010
Notification of Acceptance: 1st April, 2010
