Meeting Description: 

This summer, the University of Oregon is hosting the second Institute on Field
Linguistics and Language Documentation (InField 2010).  InField 2010 is an
excellent opportunity to learn/update the technical skills necessary to do
successful modern language documentation, maintenance, and revitalization.
InField will consist of two weeks of workshops (June 21 - July 2) with the
option of an additional week for lab practice (July 5-9) or an additional four
weeks of training in field methods (July 5 - 30).

This Year the LINGUIST List hopes to raise $65,000. This money will go to help 
keep the List running by supporting all of our Student Editors for the coming year.
