Meeting Description: 

SinFonIJA stands for Syntax Phonology and Language Analysis (SINtaksa 
FONologija I Jezi?ka Analiza). The idea of having a conference that would 
travel around the area of Central and South East Europe (or former  Yugoslavia
and former Austro-Hungarian empire) has been around for long,  but we had to
wait until 2008 to implement the idea. After the initial meeting  held in Nova
Gorica in 2008, SinFonIJA survived the first repetition in 2009 in  Sarajevo
(all participants agreed SinFonIJA 2 was a success) and is now  turning into a
proper regular annual conference on formal linguistics in this  part of the world.

The conference will be held in English.
