Meeting Description: 

The 21st Japanese/Korean Linguistics Conference will be held on 20-22 October 2011, at Seoul National University, Korea. Japanese/Korean Linguistics Conference provides a forum for the researchers from any linguistic subfield that contributes to the linguistic studies of Japanese and Korean.

The conference is organized by the Department of Linguistics and Language Research Institute of Seoul National University. 

The keynote speakers will be:

Professor David Pesetsky (MIT)
Professor Tomioka Satoshi (University of Delaware)
Professor Kie Zuraw (UCLA)
Professor Chai-sung Hong (Seoul National University)

The conference will be preceded by a workshop on Evidentials and Modals on Oct 19th, whose program can be found on
