Description:
EF is searching for a doctorate-holding applied linguist to lead initiatives
in language learning instructional systems design, materials development,
and teacher training.
We are looking for a qualified and energetic language learning specialist
to join our worldwide operations team in Zurich. You will bring your
experience of curriculum design and materials development to contribute
to the growth of EF's pioneering language learning system used in our
schools worldwide. You will have extensive English language teaching
experience, especially with university and young professional students, as
well as a passion for cutting edge learning technologies and their
potential. Your doctoral studies will have been focused on second
language acquisition, making you an ideal fit with an experienced,

Requirements:
- PhD or EdD in Applied Linguistics or closely related field; candidates
with Master's level or other degrees will not be considered for this
position
- 5-10 years experience in English language teaching in both academic

- Evidence of leadership experience, innovative curriculum design, and
materials development
- Excellent organizational skills and project management experience
- Outstanding writing and editing ability
- Excellent mastery of English, additional languages a plus
- EU/Swiss passport or pre-existing ability to work in Switzerland; we are
unable to sponsor other candidates
