Focus: The INNET summer school focuses on standards, methodologies 
and tools for the digital documentation and archiving of languages.

Description:
The summer school is part of the project Innovative Networking in
Infrastructure for Endangered Languages (INNET), financed within the 7th
Framework Programme of the EC. The local organizer is Adam Mickiewicz
University in Poznań, Poland. This summer school is intended primarily for 
postgraduate research students pursuing Master or PhD degrees within the 
language sciences at a European institution.
Through a series of intensive 1-3 day courses with practical work students
will have the opportunity to enlarge their knowledge and skills regarding
standards, methodologies and tools for the digital documentation and archiving
of languages. Shorter lectures on adjacent topics complement the programme.

Registration Instructions:
Participants will have to apply by filling out the application form providing
information on their background and interest in the area of language
documentation and technological issues. Admission will be based on the track
record and a motivational statement that are part of the application form. The
maximum number of participants is 30.
