Description:
The Graduate Institute of Linguistics at National Taiwan University invites
applications for a faculty position at all ranks (Assistant, Associate, or
full professor) to begin in February 2014. Application for this position is
open to scholars with a Ph.D. in linguistics, psychology, or in cognitive
science with specialization in language, psychology or related fields.
Candidates with a strong linguistically-related interdisciplinary background
and experiment-based research experiences in first language acquisition, child
language and/or language development will be given priority consideration.
Candidates must also be committed to teaching and willing to collaborate with
others. Responsibilities for the position include teaching at undergraduate
and graduate levels, thesis supervision, student advising, and committee
services.
Interested applicants should apply by August 20, 2013. The application package
should include the following:
(1) Cover letter
(2) Three copies of CV
(3) Three copies of Ph.D. diploma
(4) Three copies of graduate transcripts
(5) Three letters of recommendation
(6) Six copies of:
a)representative works such as journal papers, book chapters, and books
(including unpublished thesis) published after February 2009, and
b)additional supporting works published after February 2007.
