Meeting Description:
The Workshop on Morphology and Interpretation is the concluding event of the project 'Cross-Linguistic Reflections of Cognitive Distinctions', financed by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and FAPESP - the Research Support Foundation of the State of São Paulo. It will be held at the University of São Paulo, Brazil on July 28-29, 2014.
The workshop is thought of as a forum for discussing research in morphology, syntax, semantics and their interfaces, aiming to delineate specific areas where linguistic properties reflect human cognition and general natural language properties.
The workshop will consist of a main session involving invited speakers and a poster session open to contributors.
Call for Posters
Submissions are invited for posters presenting unpublished research in the areas of morphology, syntax, semantics and their interfaces; as well as experimental areas related to them. We particularly encourage undergraduate and graduate students to submit to the poster session.
Submission Guidelines:
- Abstracts should be no longer than 400 words including examples and references.
- Page format: A4, 2,54cm (one inch) margins on all sides, 12-point font, single line spacing.
- Submissions are restricted to one single-authored and one co-authored abstract at most.
- Please submit abstracts to anamuler at usp.br. The abstract should be submitted in PDF format.
Submission deadline: 25 May 2014.
