The 1st AALA Conference is jointly organized by the Institute of Applied Linguistics, Zhejiang University, and Asian Association for Language Assessment (AALA). It aims to provide a platform for academics and language assessment professionals to discuss and review various issues related to language assessment in Asia.

Abstract Submissions:
All individual presentations will be 25 minutes in length, including 5 minutes' question time. The abstract (in MS Word Version) should be a maximum of 250 words (excluding references). Please also include in the abstract: (1) topic area (state one of the above areas), (2) title of the paper, (3) name and title of the writer(s), (4) affiliation, and (5) email address and physical mailing address.
Each participant can submit only one abstract as the lead author and one abstract as a co-author. Lead authors must register by 15 September 2014 in order for the paper to be included in the conference program.
Please submit your abstracts to: msc at zju.edu.cn, with a subject line indicating ''Submission + Name''.
