The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at the University of
Tübingen invites applications for a two-year, part time (50%)
Lecturer/Instructor (Lektor/Lektorin, TV-L  E 13) of Portuguese with focus on
Brazil, beginning on the 15.04.2015.

Job Description:
Responsibilities include the organization and teaching of classes as well as
conducting oral and written assessments and examinations of students’ language
competence. Duties also include developing and giving courses on the culture
and geography of Brazil. A further requirement is the supervision of exchange
programs. The appointee will teach eight hours per week.

Qualifications/Profile:
- Native speaker of Portuguese
- Degree in Portuguese Language, Romance Languages or Arts and Cultural
Sciences 
- Very good command of German
- Experience in teaching Portuguese, preferably experience in foreign language
teaching at university level
- An understanding of and the ability to teach the comprehension and
production of a variety of  texts, including scientific  ones.
