Language and Linguistics (published by Institute of Linguistics, Academia
Sinica, Taiwan) is pleased to welcome three new Associate Editors, Professor
Shengli Feng, Professor Chen-Sheng Luther Liu and Professor John Whitman,
joining the editorial team led by Editor-in-Chief Professor C.-C. Jane Tang
and Associate Editors Professors Henry Y. Chang, Randy J. LaPolla, Thomas
Hun-Tak Lee, Yen-Hwei Lin and Pei-chuan Wei from Volume 16, Number 1 (2015). 

Professor Shengli Feng received his Ph.D from University of Pennsylvania in
1995. He is a Professor of Chinese Linguistics at the Chinese University of
Hong Kong. His research interests and specialization include prosodic syntax,
historical syntax, morphology, and Chinese poetic prosody.

Professor Chen-Sheng Luther Liu received his Ph.D from University of
California, Irvine in 1999. He is a Professor of Linguistics at National Chiao
Tung University, Taiwan. His research interests and specialization include
natural language syntax, comparative syntax, syntax-semantics-pragmatics
interface, syntax of Taiwanese.

Professor John Whitman received his Ph.D from Harvard University in 1985. He
is a Professor of Linguistics at Cornell University, USA. His research
interests and specialization include Syntactic typology, East Asian
linguistics, and Historical linguistics. 

In conjunction with the current editorial team of broad academic diversity and
collegial participation, Language and Linguistics will no doubt benefit
greatly and will continue its effort to provide an open, high-quality
publishing venue for the communities of Linguistics and Chinese Linguistics.
