Meeting Description:

The Department of Modern Languages at the University of Białystok, Poland is pleased to announce International Conference: The word in language and discourse, to be held in Białystok, 16-17 March, 2015. 

The conference is intended as a meeting ground for linguists interested in such areas as morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, comparative studies, discourse analysis, translation, and language acquisition and learning.

Conference Fee: 80 euros (300zł)
The fee covers publication of proceedings, coffee breaks, and gala dinner.

Call for Papers:

The above list is not exhaustive but gives an indication only. Selected papers will be published in Białostockie Archiwum Językowe, a ranked journal linked to the Faculty of Philology, the University of Białystok or in a reviewed monograph. 

Important Dates:

Deadline for the submission of abstracts (ca. 200 words): 31 January 2015
Notification of acceptance: 20 February 2015
