Description:

A PhD position (salary is TVL-13, 65%) is to be filled at the Heinrich-Heine-University from October 1, 2015 until 30.09.2018.

The ideal candidate has an MA in linguistics, with a specialization in phonology or morphology, is a native speaker of Maltese or has native or near-native knowledge of a Semitic language and a strong research potential. 

The position will be in the project: Maltese plurals: phonotactics, variation and the structure of the mental lexicon. The project is part of a Research Unit 'Spoken Morphology'.
