The Language, Logic and Cognition Center (LLCC) at The Hebrew University of
Jerusalem (https://scholars.huji.ac.il/llcc/home), is an interdisciplinary
research center devoted to the study of issues pertaining to language, at the
interfaces among computer science, linguistics, philosophy and psychology. We
are looking for a postdoctoral researcher for a period of 12 months, starting
October 1st, 2017, renewable for another 12 months. We expect the researcher
to have an outstanding research record in one of the following research areas:
- Linguistics: syntax, semantics, pragmatics
- Philosophy of Language
- Psycholinguistics

Eligibility:
- Doctorate should not be dated earlier than the first of October, 2012.
- Candidates should not currently be Post-Docs at the Hebrew University.
(Candidates who have done Post-Doctoral research at the Hebrew University in
the past should contact Nora Boneh for further instructions).
- Fellowships are rarely awarded to candidates who acquired their Doctorate at
the Hebrew University (such candidates are required to contact Nora Boneh for
further details)
Selection Process:
The applications will be examined by the LLCC Selection Committee. Some of the
candidates will be nominated to several fellowships at the university.
Notifications of acceptance are expected in the spring
Starting date: Post-Doctoral Researchers are expected to commence the
Fellowship on the 1st of October of the year in which the Fellowship was
offered and end it on the 30th of September of the following year. Attempts
are made to be as flexible as possible should a Fellow expect to arrive
before or after the 1st of October. However, an earlier commencement or a
delay of over 2 months should be reported to the selection committee to ensure
it is acceptable.
