Description:

As a Project Manager, you will collaborate with statisticians, linguists,
researchers, and engineers in research and machine intelligence to evaluate
data and grammars that improve our ability to understand natural language. You
will support project operations and focus on evaluating and improving data
quality to help solve language-specific Natural Language Processing
challenges. 

Responsibilities: 
- Implement data evaluation methodologies
- Author data evaluation reports
- Support operations for data collection and data management 
- Maintain and create process documentation, project pages, project schedule
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and linguists to scope out project
and data needs and explore new methods of data gathering for a higher
throughput 
- Manage multiple projects from conception to delivery 

Minimum Qualifications: 
- BS degree in Statistics, Data Management, or Computational Linguistics, or
equivalent practical experience 
- Experience with data evaluation, data operations, and data management 
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts 
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills 
- Ability to effectively operate independently with flexibility in a
fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment 

Preferred Qualifications: 
- Experience with Ubuntu environment 
- Experience collaborating internationally with multiple partners on
multifaceted projects 
- Multilingual speaker, with proficiency in English and another language 
- Experience in areas such as semantics, syntax, morphology 
- Familiarity and experience with Natural Language Understanding technologies 

Project duration: 12 months (with potential for extension). 
This is a fixed-term contract, not a permanent position. 

Location: Mountain View, CA
