Description:

We are a fast growing FinTech and hiring talented engineers with a broad
understanding of technology, visionary and creative thinking for thrilling
development tasks.

YUKKA Lab does sentiment analysis on financial markets based on online and
print news. We are providing a NewsAnalyzer and deriving actionable
longterm-trading signals from these data.

We are working in an exciting area of application and are looking for someone
interested in pushing it to the next level with state-of-the-art algorithms.

Requirements:
- degree in computational linguistics or computer science with course work on
NLP and/or Artificial Intelligence
- excellent programming skills in Java
- experience with Machine Learning 

Nice to have:
- professional software development experience, git, maven
- good programming skills in Python
- semantic analysis technologies, e.g. topic models, embeddings 

Tasks:
- working on the development / extension of a sentiment analysis application
for English (later on Chinese, etc...)
- building NLU components
- creating and improving existing opinion mining algorithms
- testing and evaluating the performance of our algorithms
