Subject: The Mouton GLOW Prize

 
Dear readers,

We are pleased to announce the institution of “The Mouton GLOW prize” and its
first winners.

The award honors the best presentation by a PhD student or PostDoc researcher
given at the annual GLOW conference. Every PhD student or PostDoc researcher
who presents at the annual GLOW meeting is automatically considered for this
prize; no nominations are required. 

First winners were publicly announced during the 40th anniversary of the GLOW
conference, which took place March 14-18, 2017, in Leiden, NL.

First prize: Ethan Poole (PhD student, University of Massachusetts, Amherst)
Second prize: Adrian Stegovec (PhD student, University of Connecticut)
Third prize: Vadim Kimmelman (Postdoc, University of Amsterdam)

On behalf of the GLOW organization, the editors of the Studies in Generative
Grammar book series and De Gruyter Mouton Publishers
