Description:

The role of the Linguistic Project Manager is to consult with Natural Language
Understanding Researchers on creating guidelines and setting standards for a
variety of NLP projects. This includes:
- Reviewing and annotating linguistic data
- Driving development of CFG-style grammars for NLP applications
- Providing linguistic analysis and expertise for semantic, syntactic,
morphological and phonetic projects
- Consulting with researchers and engineers on the development of linguistic
databases
- Identifying and assigning required tasks for a project
- Delivering final output

Minimum Requirements:
- Native speaker of Hindi and fluent in English. 
- Master's degree or higher in Linguistics or Computational Linguistics,  with
experience specializing in semantics, syntax, morphology, lexicography,
phonetics or phonology
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Previous project management and people management experience.

Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of additional Indian languages preferred
- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative analysis, regular expressions
or programming languages
- Practical experience in natural language processing
- Independent worker with the ability to effectively operate with flexibility
in a fast paced, constantly evolving team environment. 
- Team player with exceptional interpersonal and solution-oriented attitude.

Project duration: 6-12 months (with potential for extension) This is not a
permanent position but a full-time contract position.
