Greetings!
This is just a friendly reminder that the early registration deadline for the
eighth Generative Approaches to Language Acquisition - North America is next
Wednesday, August 15. Early registration is not required, but it saves on the
registration fee for attendees.
Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana will host the conference from
September 27-30, 2018. A special workshop on ''Language Attrition in
Individuals and Communities'' will be held on September 27 (1-6pm), and the
main conference will run between September 28-30.
Keynote speakers for the main conference include Charles Reiss, Lydia White,
and Charles Yang, and invited speakers for the special workshop include
Barbara Köpke, Silvina Montrul, Kevin Rottet, Monika S. Schmid, and Kathleen
Bardovi-Harlig and David Stringer. 50+ additional researchers will present
original work during the main and poster sessions, and the conference will
also feature a welcome reception, a conference dinner, an ice-cream social,
and other opportunities to engage with our colleagues in the field.
To register for GALANA-8, please navigate to the ''Registration'' tab on our
