Subject: A Python Interface for Praat: Parselmouth

 
Parselmouth is a Python library that allows one to access Praat functionality
from Python. It is described in an article in the Journal of Phonetics that
just appeared:

Parselmouth enables the integration of Praat into Python in a Python-friendly
and efficient way. Doing so, speech scientists and research can combine now
the wide range of functionality in Praat with the Python programming language
and its broad range of scientific libraries.

A set of examples demonstrating the use of Parselmouth and illustating the
range of possible applications can be found at
