The conference aims to bring together specialists from the fields of
Linguistics, Literature and Translation, whose work focuses on teaching
Portuguese as a Foreign Language, enabling the exchange of new ideas and
experiences.

Call for Papers:
We welcome proposals for papers in English or Portuguese on (but not
restricted to) one or more of the following topics:
- Education, teacher training and promotion of the Portuguese language
- Translation in the teaching of PFL (Portuguese as a Foreign Language)
- Methodologies and new approaches in the teaching of PFL
- Culture and literature contents in the teaching of PFL
- The linguistic component in the teaching of PFL
Important Dates:
- March 1 - deadline for submission of proposals
- March 10 - notification of acceptance
- April 15 - deadline for registration - (no registration fees will be
applied)
Following the Conference, all full texts submitted shall be selected through
blind peer review for publication in a special issue of an indexed
international academic journal
Submissions:
200-300 words proposals for oral presentations of up to 20 minutes should be
written in Portuguese or English, accompanied by a short bio (+/- 100 words)
and sent by email to: fah_confl_lp at umac.mo
Notification of acceptance of paper proposals: March 10.
