Description:

The Department of Linguistics, at Boğaziçi University, invites applications
from Turkish nationals for an Assistant Professor position. Applicants are
expected to have research and teaching experience in theoretical or
experimental linguistics and to complement the department in both teaching and
research.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach required and elective
linguistics courses at the undergraduate, MA, and PhD degree levels, with a
minimum of two courses per term. Further responsibilities include thesis
supervision at the undergraduate, MA, and PhD levels, as well as
administrative duties. Boğaziçi University is committed to excellence in
teaching and research, and applicants should have a teaching and recent
publication record commensurate with these standards.

Requirements: 
Ideally, applicants should hold a PhD in Linguistics at the time of
application, but those who will be completing their PhD in 2019 are encouraged
to apply as well. If interested, please provide a CV, a statement of academic
interests, and a representative publication. Applications should be sent in a
single file to the application email address below, by September 30th, 2018,

deadline.
