Meeting Description:
The graduate students of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese Studies at
the University of Minnesota are excited to announce the 7th Annual Graduate
Student Conference, “Dualities: Hybrid States and Liminal Identities.” This
will take place March 20 and 21, 2020 on the UMN Minneapolis campus.
We are eager to welcome the two keynote speakers for this conference, Dr. Kim
Potowski of the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Dr. John Beverly of the
University of Pittsburgh.
Call for Papers:
The Conference Committee cordially invites you to submit abstract proposals of
250 words in the language of presentation. Abstract submission deadline is
January 5, 2020 through the conference website:

10 minutes for questions. It may be delivered in English, Spanish, or
