Description:

A 4-year PhD scholarship is available on ”Coevolution of languages and social
networks” at Nanyang Technological University, starting August 2019.

We seek applicants with strong interests in learning and combining two or more
of these methodologies: network theory and methods; agent-based modelling;
cognitive science; psycholinguistics and neurolinguistics. 

The successful candidate will be co-supervised by this team:
- Prof. Luca Onnis (Main Supervisor, Cognitive Science)
- Prof. Poong Oh (Co-Supervisor, Network Science)
- Prof. Stephen Lansing (Senior Mentor, Complexity Science). 

The PhD candidate will be hosted within the Interdisciplinary Graduate School
PhD Programme. The application deadline is Jan 31 2019 for the August 2019
