Meeting Description: 

This international workshop is meant to feature a mix of linguists and legal
scholars with expertise in areas of potential interest to both groups, and who
are interested in communication, multilingualism and/or multicultural issues. 

There will be talks by Larry Solan (Brooklyn Law School), Janny Leung (The
University of Hong Kong), Silvia Ferreri (Università di Torino), Chris Heffer
(Cardiff University), Christine Corcos (Louisiana State University), Alan
Durant (Middlesex University London), Werner Gephart (Käte Hamburger Kolleg
''Recht als Kultur''), Ino Augsberg (Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel),
Peter Robson (University of Strathclyde), Richard Powell (Nihon University),
Luping Zhang (China University of Political Science and Law, Beijing), Robin
Conley Riner (Marshall University), Agnieszka Doczekalska (Kozminski
University), Tommaso Agnoloni (Institute of Legal Information Theory and
Techniques), Guilia Venturi (Instituto di Linguistica Computazionale, Pisa),
