Abstract:

Den Grammatikteil beginnt der Autor mit einem Überblick über die
geolinguistische Situation und die verschiedenen Orthographien des
Serbokroatischen. Im Hauptteil wird der Fokus auf die Phonologie und die
verbale und nominale Morphologie gelegt (u.a. mit Kapiteln zu den
verschiedenen Deklinationstypen, Pronomina, Numeralia, Aktionsarten des
Verbums, Partizipia und reflexive Verba).

Der zweite Teil des Bandes enthält ein Lesebuch mit Glossar, u.a. serbische
epische Volksgesänge, zur Zeit der Publikation moderne serbokroatische
Literatur, mit Prosaisten wie B. Stankoviđ, A. Tresic-Pavičić), und Dichtern
wie A. Šantiđ oder D. Domjanić, und lyrische Volkslieder der Serben.
