Meeting Description: 

The third conference on the Linguistic Crescent will take place in Boussac,
Creuse, France, in 2022, on October, 7, 8 and 9, 2022.

Situated on the Northern Fringe of the Massif Central (France), the Linguistic
Crescent is an area where the local gallo-romance varieties simultaneously
display typical Oïl and Occitan features. This conference will present the
most recent research on the Crescent, in particular that carried out within
the framework of the projects ''Les parlers du Croissant'' funded by the
French National Research Agency and the Labex EFL, as well as the project
''Oc/Oïl'' funded by the City of Paris.
