Description:
The Department of Linguistics at the University of Southern California in Los
Angeles invites applications for a one-year Postdoctoral Teaching Fellowship
in syntax, beginning in January 2023. This fellowship is potentially renewable
for a further semester/second year, contingent upon approval and departmental
teaching needs.
In addition to research, the successful candidate is expected to teach 3
courses per year of employment in USC and to participate in the intellectual
life of the department and other units on campus. This person will receive a
stipend of $65,000 plus benefits. Applicants must have received their Ph.D. at
the latest by January 1, 2023, the start date of the position, and should
submit a letter of application/interest, their curriculum vitae, and the names
of three referees who may be contacted by USC (attach all as one PDF document
during the application process). Review of applications will begin on October
10, and continue until the position is filled. In order to be considered for
