Meeting Description: 

The 2023 Hispanic Linguistics Symposium will be held October 12-14 at Brigham
Young University in Provo, UT. The Hispanic Linguistics Symposium is an annual
conference with a focus on theoretical and applied linguistics in Spanish and
Portuguese. 

Abstracts for paper presentations or posters are invited on any area of
research on Hispanic linguistics, including (but not limited to): synchronic
and diachronic approaches to theoretical linguistics, language acquisition,
sociolinguistics, bilingualism, language contact, syntax, dialectology,
phonology/phonetics, pragmatics, semantics, applied linguistics, language
contact and Spanish in the US.
