Meeting Description:
WiGL is a conference run by students for students and is a forum for all
students from UW-Madison and other institutions to present and share their
research. Presenters at WiGL include undergraduate, graduate, and recently
graduated students who give 30-minute presentations (20 minutes + 10 minutes
for questions) or posters on any linguistics-related topic.
2nd Call for Papers:
This is a final call for abstract submissions for the 17th Annual Workshop in
General Linguistics (WiGL 17) to be held in-person Friday and Saturday, March
24-25, 2023 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The abstract deadline has
been extended to Sunday, January 29th, 2023 at 11:59PM CST. Abstracts will not
be accepted after this date.
Abstracts should be at most 500 words, not including data, graphics, or
references, and should not include the author’s name or affiliation. Please
submit abstracts in pdf format via this Google Form:
