Scope of Job: The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley seeks to fill
an Assistant Professor faculty position in Spanish Translation and
Interpreting to begin in Fall 2024. The department seeks an energetic
candidate to develop and teach translation and interpreting courses at
the graduate and undergraduate levels, both in traditional and online
environments. The selected applicant will support the development of
the Translation & Interpreting programs, advise students and serve on
program and department committees as needed. The successful applicant
will be expected to develop a solid research agenda in any area within
Translation Studies.
