Meeting Description:
The title and theme of the 2025 CELC (Centre for English Language
Communication, National University of Singapore) Symposium is “Gearing
Up Future-ready Learners: Rethinking Perspectives in English Language
and Communication Teaching in Higher Education”.
The sub-themes are:
- Technology-enhanced teaching and learning
- Assessments and feedback
- Interdisciplinary/collaborative teaching and learning
- Other areas related to the Symposium main theme.
The Symposium will feature Prof. Cecilia Chan (The University of Hong
Kong) and Prof. Heath Rose (University of Oxford) as keynote speakers,
and Prof. Icy Lee (Nanyang Technological University) and Prof. Jessie
Moore (Elon University) as featured speakers. The Symposium will bring
together a myriad of educators, researchers and professionals to
discuss the latest developments in English language teaching in higher
education. It will be a time for knowledge exchange and networking.
Call for Papers:

submission of abstracts. Registration opens on 15 Dec 2025.
