The conference aims to bring together researchers, teachers,
translators, and other language experts to share their knowledge,
ideas, and experience in the field of medical language.

2nd Call for Papers:

The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers, teachers,
translators, and other language experts to share their knowledge,
ideas, and experience in the field of medical language.

The topics include but are not limited to:
Medical discourse
Terminology and terminography
Semantic approaches to the language of medicine
New trends and innovations in teaching and learning
Second/foreign language acquisition in the medical context
Teaching and assessment challenges
Translation studies
Language of medicine and new technologies
Medical communication
Intercultural studies: culture, ethics, identity, society
Intercultural communication
Ethical issues in the field of medicine

Abstract submission deadline: 15 January 2025
Notification of abstract acceptance: 1 February 2025
Early bird conference fee payment deadline (125 euro): 15 March 2025
Regular fee payment deadline (150 euro): 15 April 2025

The time allotted for each presentation is 15 minutes, followed by a
5-minute discussion.
All submitted manuscripts will be double-blind peer-reviewed, and a
selection will be published in "Jahr – European Journal of Bioethics"
and as chapters in a scientific monograph. More information to be
announced.
