Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently
recruiting a permanent, full-time Pūkenga/Pūkenga Matua -
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Applied Linguistics (Academic on Principal
Pathway).

Key Responsibilities: 

* Conducting research in Applied Linguistics.
* Teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, onshore, online
and offshore.
* Supervising MA and PhD students.
* Undertaking administrative roles within the School.

Ō pūmanawa - About you

You will be an engaged and dedicated educator, with an interest in
research which can enhance pedagogical effectiveness.

Key Requirements: 

* PhD in a relevant field.
* A strong research agenda and publication record in Applied
Linguistics.
* Evidence of effective second or foreign language teaching.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to work inclusively with staff
and students from diverse background.
