About Destined AI:
Destined AI is dedicated to detecting and mitigating unwanted bias in
artificial intelligence systems. We are at the forefront of ethical AI
development, working with ethically sourced, fully consented datasets
to promote fairness and inclusivity in AI models.
Internship Description:
We have curated a dataset of 2,500 unique voices and their
accompanying voice recordings. Our goal is to identify sociolinguistic
characteristics and accurately label each unique voice in our dataset.
As an intern, you will contribute to this exciting and impactful
project, helping to shape the future of ethical AI development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze voice recordings to identify sociolinguistic
characteristics, including accents, dialects, intonation patterns, and
other linguistic features.
- Develop and implement methodologies for labeling unique voices in
our dataset.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure accuracy and consistency in the
labeling process.
- Contribute insights and research to improve dataset quality and
inclusivity.
Qualifications:
- Background in sociolinguistics, linguistics, speech science, or a
related field.
- Familiarity with analyzing speech patterns and linguistic features.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Passion for ethical AI and inclusivity in technology.
- (Optional but preferred) Experience with audio processing tools or
machine learning frameworks.
