CALL FOR ARTICLES FOR ISSUES 31 AND 32 OF TERMINÀLIA (2025)
Terminàlia, the scientific journal of the Catalan Society of
Terminology, SCATERM, a subsidiary of the Institute of Catalan
Studies, invites you to send your article proposals for the next
issues (issue 31, June 2025; issue 32, December 2025). The deadline
for this call is February 15, 2025.
Terminàlia is the scientific journal of the Catalan Society of
Terminology, SCATERM, a subsidiary of the Institute of Catalan
Studies. It is published biannually (June and December) and
electronically (https://revistes.iec.cat/index.php/Terminalia/index).
The journal's objectives are to become a reference channel for
scientific debate and a means of international dissemination of
research, training, planning or technological developments in
terminology and related fields, and to serve as a body for exchange
and expression for the various professional profiles linked to
terminology.
The journal's languages are Catalan, Spanish, French and English. In
the case of languages other than the four mentioned above, the texts
are translated into Catalan and both the article in the original
language and the translated one in Catalan are published.
The journal's subject matter revolves around terminology, in a broad
sense, and also extends to related fields: analysis of specialized
discourse, neology, specialized translation, history of scientific
discourse, teaching languages for specific purposes, linguistic
engineering applied to terminological work, linguistic corpora with
specialized content, etc.
100% of the journal's contents are original contributions. The main
objective of the journal is to publish quality articles that have
passed a double blind review.
You can send article proposals through SUBMISSIONS (where you can also
consult the guidelines for participation in the journal):
https://revistes.iec.cat/index.php/Terminalia/about/submissions
If you need to, you can also write to terminalia at correu.iec.cat.
