Description:

The successful candidate will be an outstanding academic with a strong
international reputation in the field of Historical Linguistics of
English. We are also looking for a committed teacher, who can teach a
broad range of topics in different subdisciplines of English
linguistics at Bachelor, Master and PhD level, and who is willing to
take an active role supervising at all these levels. We particularly
welcome applicants whose work also engages with other areas of
linguistics, such as sociolinguistics, corpus linguistics and
educational linguistics. The successful candidate will also be
expected to perform administrative duties and contribute to the
management of the institute.
