Subject: Applied Linguistics / Entrepalavras (Jrnl)

Entrepalavras, a journal linked to the Federal University of Ceará, is
an academic-scientific journal dedicated to publishing original and
unpublished works of interest to Linguistics, of a theoretical or
applied nature, produced by undergraduates, graduates and
postgraduates from national or foreign universities.

Entrepalavras does not charge a fee for processing articles
(submission and evaluation).

In line with the principles of open science, Entrepalavras allows
readers free access to all the content of its issues.

With a periodicity of three regular annual issues and occasional
special issues, the journal welcomes articles, reviews and
translations written in Portuguese, English and Spanish.

Submissions are made on a continuous basis and publication depends on
when the article is approved
(http://www.entrepalavras.ufc.br/revista/index.php/Revista/index).
Regular issues are dedicated to any area of theoretical or applied
linguistics:

1) Linguistic theory and analysis: Receives original articles
(presentation of unpublished research results) dealing with the
structure of language and its patterns of use,
theoretical-methodological approaches to linguistic studies, processes
of linguistic variation and change, description of grammatical
phenomena of natural languages at the morphological, morphosyntactic,
syntactic and semantic levels, studies of the lexicon.

2) Discursive practices: Receives original articles (presentation of
unpublished research results) based on theoretical-methodological
perspectives that address discursive practices and textualization
strategies, such as Textual Linguistics, French Discourse Analysis,
Critical Discourse Analysis, Conversation Analysis and Discourse
Semiotics.

3) Applied Linguistics: Receives original articles (presentation of
unpublished research results) that deal with the process of
teaching/learning languages (native and foreign), the organization and
acquisition of language in virtual learning environments or not, the
relationship between language and culture, beliefs about language,
issues of literacy and multilearning.
