Meeting Description:
The II Semantics Colloquium is a national event and will be held in
person at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) in João Pessoa in
partnership with the Brazilian Linguistics Association (ABRALIN),
between the 12th and 14th of November 2024. The event has The
objective is to bring together national and international researchers
in the field of Semantics to present and debate the most recent
research and advances in the area. To this end, conferences, round
tables, short courses, oral communications and poster sessions will be
held.
Given the complexity of the themes and research objects involving
semantics, the event will offer significant contributions to
scientific development, not only in Linguistics, but also in related
areas, such as Cognitive Sciences, Computer Science and Artificial
Intelligence, the Communication Sciences, Education and Applied Social
Sciences, etc.
Call for Papers:
Submit your Extended Abstract in one of the topics. Full papers
presented at the Conference will be published after peer review on
the Journal Cadernos de Linguística da ABRALIN (ISSN 2675-4016),
respecting the standards for publication in this journal.
