Meeting Description:
>From various disciplines, professors and administrators from the
Universities of Cartagena (UdeC) and the Colombo International
University Institution (UNICA) call for a student colloquium in order
to promote the exchange of ideas around any of the intersections
between discourse, culture and teaching. In this version, the
Colloquium: Discourse, Culture and Education is aimed at socializing
"Experiences in language analysis and pedagogy", that is, classroom
projects or research in progress by university students with the
accompaniment of professors. The presentations have as their main axis
the academic approach to a language in use (whether it be Spanish,
English, French, Aramaic, or Greek in translation), this includes
literary registers or the culture to which they belong. The works
range from the design and interventions of classes that use pedagogy
based on discursive genres, the study of the fear of speaking in a
non-native language, the dignification of work through language
teaching, sociophonetics, to the analysis of argumentation and culture
from a pedagogical perspective, among others.
