The Linguistics Data Interest Group of the Research Data Alliance
invites all linguists to participate in a survey focusing on Open
Science, the management and sharing of research data in our
discipline.
In particular, our team is interested in which educational resources
are most needed by linguistics researchers to help them properly
preserve and share their research data. We are seeking input from
linguists from all subdisciplines and at all career stages, from PhD
candidates to early career faculty, to senior faculty. Furthermore, we
welcome participation from researchers with a range of technological
skills and experience, from novice to expert.

We are sending out information about this survey on a global level,
asking people to distribute it in their professional networks. We
expect the survey to take between 15-20 minutes to complete, and we
hope that responses can be completed before 31 December 2024.

You can find the survey here: https://nettskjema.no/a/openlinguistics

The above data collection will strongly impact the Research Data
Alliance’s future outreach and educational programs in linguistics.

Thank you in advance for your time.
