Meeting Description:

The Department of Linguistics at the University of Dhaka is pleased to

a hybrid conference to be held on February 26, 2025. The event will
offer both in-person and virtual participation to facilitate
international collaboration and knowledge exchange in the field of
linguistics, with a focus on the intersection of language, technology,
and interdisciplinary approaches within the Digital Humanities.

Hybrid Format:
DULC2025 offers a hybrid format to accommodate both local and
international participants. Whether you join us in-person at the
University of Dhaka or virtually, we are committed to providing an
engaging and accessible platform for intellectual exchange. The
virtual component will feature live-streamed presentations and
interactive Q&A sessions.

Conference Theme:
The theme for DULC2025 is "Language, Function, and Interdisciplining
Digital Humanities," inviting scholars to explore the role of language
in digital environments and the innovative cross-disciplinary
methodologies in the Digital Humanities. As the digital age reshapes
the way we understand, document, and analyse language, this conference
will examine how linguistic functions can be analysed through the lens
of digital tools, fostering collaborations between linguists,
technologists, and digital humanists.
