Description:

Are you a linguist specialising in Japanese or Korean? SIDE are in
need of freelance native-speaking formally trained phonologists who
are able to do phonemic transcription, audio analysis and other speech
linguistic tasks (text-to-speech).

Successful candidates will be part of a team processing large amounts
of linguistic data and carrying out a number of tasks to improve the
quality of our client’s text-to-speech synthesis for Japanese or
Korean.

Linguistics Requirements:

- University-level coursework in general linguistics, phonetics,
phonology, and experience in phonemic transcription in your native
language (jp-JP or ko-KO).
- BA/BS in Linguistics preferred.
