The 27th Seoul International Conference on Generative Grammar (SICOGG
27)
The Seoul International Conference on Generative Grammar (SICOGG) is
an annual conference bringing together generative linguistics from
East Asia and around the world to present and discuss current research
related to generative syntax and its interfaces. Each year, SICOGG
invites a keynote speaker to deliver a series of lectures on a special
topic related to the speaker’s current research. SICOGG 27 will take
place at Sogang University in Seoul, Korea, from August 14 - 16, 2025.
The conference will be hosted by the Korean Generative Grammar Circle.
The general session of SICOGG27 will include a series of invited
lectures by Professor Susi Wurmbrand (Paris Lodron Universität
Salzburg) on the topic ‘How Syntax Maps to PF and LF: A Focus on
Redundancy and Deficiency.’
The theme of SICOGG27 is 'Syntax as the Hub: Exploring the
Syntax-Semantics Interface and Form-Meaning Mismatches.' We especially
invite papers on the main topic, however, equal consideration will be
given to papers from all areas of generative grammar, which may
include syntactic theory, the syntax-pragmatics interface, the
syntax-semantics interface, the syntax-morphology interface, the
syntax-phonology interface, syntactic acquisition, and any other topic
related to generative grammar. Applicants for oral/poster
presentations must submit their abstracts by May 20th, 2025.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
Abstracts should be submitted on
https://easyabs.linguistlist.org/submit/SICOGG27/.
Follow the online guidelines to upload your abstract. Only electronic
submissions through the aforementioned link will be considered.

examples (embedded within the text) but not references, with 2.54 cm

abstract per author, or two joint abstracts per author. Please
indicate whether the submitted work is proposed for a poster, an oral
