August 7, 2026
- Proficiency-Driven Courses for 30+ Languages. Build real-world
communication skills in a supportive, student-centered environment.
- Accelerated Progress. A year of language study in 8 weeks—Earn 8
credits and 2 transcript grades transferable to your home institution.
- Flexible Learning Options. Join live online classes via Zoom, Monday
through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (CDT). Limited in-person options
available for Indonesian, Thai, and Vietnamese.
- Open to All Learners. For undergraduates, graduate students,
lifelong adult learners, and high school juniors or seniors (online
only).
- All Levels Welcome. Elementary, intermediate, and advanced classes
available.
- Enhance Your Learning with professional development and cultural
activities to connect your language skills to what’s next.
Tuition: $5,000 maximum
Tuition Explanation: The maximum cost of tuition for most students at
WISLI 2026 is $5,000 for both semesters, less any scholarships and/or
fee remissions you may receive. This cost may be lower for current
UW-Madison students and Wisconsin and Minnesota residents.
