The following position is available at the Department of Linguistics
of the Faculty of Humanities for the period of April 1st 2026 to March
31st 2027.
Substitute Professorship in Computational Linguistics (m/f/d, salary
scale W3, 100%)
The employment will be on a non-tariff contractual basis. Remuneration
will follow the W3-salary scale (as for regular professorships). The
teaching load is 9 contact hours per week (German: 9
Semesterwochenstunden).
Duties: Representation of the field of Computational Linguistics in
teaching (9 contact hours per week) in all currently offered degree
programs (BA, MA Computational Linguistics), including examinations at
all levels and supervision of BA and MA theses; research activities;
and the proper performance of all administrative duties associated
with the position.
Requirements: Qualification to represent the field of Computational
Linguistics in broad coverage, demonstrated by an excellent doctorate
in a relevant field and a habilitation (German: Habilitationsschrift)
or recognized equivalent qualification in the form of internationally
visible publications; teaching experience.
