Focus: Morphosyntax, Nanosyntax, morphophonology, semantics
Description:
We are happy to announce a new summer school, Morphopalooza, which
will take place from 29 June to 03 July 2026 at Masaryk University in
Brno. Conceived as an appendix to the DM meets Nano II workshop, the
summer school will offer 5 1-week courses on topics in morphosyntax in
general and Nanosyntax in particular (including the semantics and
phonology interfaces). Each course will run from Monday till Friday
for 75min each. There will be no parallel sessions. The summer school
is primarily aimed at early career researchers (advanced MA students,
PhD students & postdocs).
While the full line-up of lecturers is still being finalised, we are
delighted to have already confirmed:
- Pavel Caha (Masaryk University)
- Michal Starke (Masaryk University)
- Asya Vyshnevska (KU Leuven)
Additional lecturers will be announced in due course.

Tuition: €50 registration fee
Tuition Explanation: There will be a limited availability of double
dorm rooms (28/06 - 5/07), but this price is not included in the
registration fee - this will have to be paid separately in cash/by
card on site.
