classification?
-quelle(s) approche(s) théorique(s) privilégier ?
-classifier dans quel but ?
-comparaisons langue a/ langue b
-le rôle des corpus
-verbe vs locution verbale
irina.thomieres at gmail.com. 300 mots (bibliographie à part), nom, titre
académique, université de rattachement.
English version:
This conference will focus on one of the central topics in
linguistics: the verbal domain. Building on a substantial body of work
in this area (Vendler, Dowty, Levin, Pustejovsky, Jackendoff, Pottier,
among others), it aims both to take stock of existing research and to
explore new directions for analysis.
The proposed themes – a non-exhaustive selection of which appears
below – are organized around the notion of semantic class:
- What semantic and/or formal criteria should justify classification?
- Which theoretical approach(es) should be favored?
- What purposes does classification serve?
- Cross-linguistic comparisons (language A vs. language B)
- The role of corpora
- Verb vs. verbal expression
- Thematic roles and classification
- Applications in higher education
Research on French and on the other languages represented at CeLiSo
will be given priority.
